Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or placing an order on The Sabjiwala ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and customers.

Our Service

The Sabjiwala is a quick commerce platform specialising in the delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables directly to your doorstep. Our core promise includes:

  • Fresh produce sourced daily at the most affordable prices

  • Delivery within 45 minutes of confirmed order placement

  • Transparent pricing with no hidden charges

  • Availability across supported pin codes within our service area

  • Our 45-minute delivery window begins from the time your order is confirmed. Delivery times may vary during peak hours, severe weather, or in areas at the edge of our service zone.

Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to place orders.

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and checkout.

  • The Sabjiwala reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these terms.



Product Quality & Freshness

We take pride in delivering the freshest produce at the most reasonable prices. To ensure this:

  • All products are quality-checked before dispatch.

  • Product images and descriptions are indicative; actual appearance may vary slightly due to seasonal and natural variations.

  • Weight-based items are priced per the delivered weight, which may differ slightly from the listed quantity due to natural variance.

  • If you receive a product that does not meet our quality standards, you may raise a complaint within 30 minutes of delivery for a replacement or refund.


Pricing & Payments

  • All prices listed are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

  • The Sabjiwala reserves the right to revise prices at any time; confirmed orders are billed at the price at the time of placement.

  • We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and cash on delivery (where available).

  • A minimum order value may apply for delivery, displayed clearly at checkout.


Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled within 2 minutes of placement. After this window, cancellation is not possible as preparation begins immediately.

  • Prepaid orders cancelled by the customer after the 2-minute window — once an order has been accepted and preparation has begun, cancellation is not permitted and no refund will be issued for prepaid orders. We encourage customers to confirm their orders carefully before payment.

  • Cancellations initiated by The Sabjiwala (due to item unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud) will result in a full refund to the original payment method within 3–5 business days, or instantly as store credit if preferred.

  • Refunds for quality complaints or incorrect orders (raised within 2 hours of delivery) will be processed within 3–5 business days or as store credit.

⚠️No Refund on Customer-Initiated Late Cancellation: If a prepaid order is cancelled by the customer after the 2-minute window, no refund will be issued. This is because perishable goods preparation begins immediately after order confirmation to meet our 45-minute delivery commitment.


Returns & Quality Complaints Process

Given the perishable nature of our products, physical returns are not required for quality complaints. Here is our process:

  • Step 1 — Report within 2 hours: Raise a complaint via the app ("My Orders → Report Issue"), our website chat, or by calling/WhatsApp-ing our support number within 2 hours of delivery.

  • Step 2 — Photo evidence: Share a clear photo of the affected item(s). This is sufficient; you do not need to return the produce.

  • Step 3 — Resolution: Our support team will review the evidence and respond within 30 minutes with either a replacement delivery or a refund/store credit, at your choice.


Delivery Terms

  • Delivery is available only in serviceable pin codes listed on our platform.

  • An accurate delivery address, including landmark and floor details, must be provided at checkout.

  • The Sabjiwala will not be liable for non-delivery or delayed delivery arising from incorrect addresses.


Force Majeure


The Sabjiwala shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in delivery or service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to:

  • Severe weather events (heavy rain, flooding, storms, extreme heat)

  • Traffic disruptions, road closures, or civil unrest

  • Power outages or internet/technical infrastructure failures

  • Labour strikes or supply chain disruptions

  • Government-imposed restrictions, curfews, or lockdowns

  • Acts of God or natural disasters

In such events, we will notify affected customers promptly and either reschedule the delivery at the earliest opportunity or issue a full refund. The 45-minute delivery guarantee is suspended during force majeure situations.



Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled within 2 minutes of placement. Post this window, cancellation may not be possible as preparation begins immediately.

  • Refunds for quality complaints, damaged items, or incorrect orders will be processed within 3–5 business days to the original payment method or as store credit.

  • The Sabjiwala reserves the right to cancel any order in case of unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity, with a full refund issued to the customer.


Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sabjiwala shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to delays in delivery, quality variations of perishable goods, or losses resulting from account misuse.


Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhopal, India.


Changes to These Terms

The Sabjiwala may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
